【新唐人2014年12月26日訊】12月24號，香港迎來了佔領運動過後的第一個平安夜，處處都是爭取真普選的聖誕佳音，不過也爆發了警民衝突，多人被抓。分析指出，學生主導的雨傘運動雖然被清場，但是追求民主的火種已經深入各階層，市民將會自發的，以各種方式去爭取民主。

24號晚上6點，香港中學生組織「學生覺醒」舉行「勿忘初衷」遊行活動，有數百巿民參加，除了中學生外，曾在金鐘清場時被捕的90歲黃伯、社民聯主席梁國雄，以及社民聯成員曾健成等，也都在遊行隊伍中。

遊行從灣仔修頓球場出發，示威者拉起「我要真普選」橫額，舉起近百支黃傘，一邊走，一邊高呼「689下臺」、「改變始於抗爭」、「希望在於人民」、「重啟（政改）五部曲」等口號，一直走到金鐘政府總部。

「學生覺醒」召集人張俊豪表示，希望透過遊行表達雨傘運動沒有結束，以及支持仍在添美道留守的市民。他說，「學生覺醒」未來會在學校和社區工作，讓市民明白他們的訴求。他們會根據第二階段政改諮詢的結果，再決定是否發起第二輪抗爭。

香港「捍衛法輪功大聯盟」創始人熊立指出，佔中運動雖然已經被清場，但對香港仍然有深遠的影響。

香港「捍衛法輪功大聯盟」創始人熊立：「總結這個活動，我給它6個字，不成功已成仁，談判的要求雖然沒有達到，但是公民抗命和爭普選，追求民主的火種，已經非常成功的播向了香港的大地，把香港市民喚醒了，特別是年輕的一代給喚醒了，這個意義非常的重大，對香港有深遠的、長遠的影響。」

在遊行期間，有大陸遊客駐足觀望，也有人對遊行者豎起拇指表示支持。

熊立：「對大陸的政局也會發生深遠的影響，你看這一次，他就沒有出動解放軍，沒有開槍鎮壓，就是因為歷史的原因，有了一個六四的教訓，也是因為有國際上的支持，以及香港市民這麼強大的民意，各方面的壓力，令習近平不敢出動解放軍。這一次沒有出動解放軍，對共產黨的改變是有作用的。」

據了解，約有10名港島及將軍澳聯校政改關注組成員，也趁平安夜發起快閃行動，他們舉起黃傘，沿途高唱佔領運動相關歌曲，途經銅鑼灣時代廣場、金鐘政府總部，全長超過10公里。

旺角「鳩嗚團」也沒有忘記初衷，大約有200人先在西洋菜街與豉油街交界合唱改編歌《日日去鳩嗚》，不少人舉起黃傘，又派發黃金色聖誕帽。銅鑼灣崇光百貨也有近200人撐起黃傘報佳音，高呼聖誕願望「我要真普選」。

熊立：「他們打著響應梁振英特首搞活經濟，去旺角購物的口號，就諷刺性的利用梁振英的口號，跟他作對。就在旺角那裏舉一些黃的傘，穿一些黃的衣服，搞聖誕活動，主要就是對抗梁振英政府，購物團會長期的進行下去，都有不少市民參加的。」

此外，發起「佔領英國領事館」的馬駿朗，也邀請兩名大學教授前往佔領區，講述如何從聖經上理解抗爭精神。

24號深夜，旺角發生了警民衝突。面對大批市民聚集在旺角街道，高喊「要求真普選」口號，警方多次舉黃旗，警告他們正參與未經批准的非法集結，要求他們離開，但在場民眾卻報以噓聲。有便衣警察發現被包圍，揮動警棍驅趕，有警員施放胡椒噴霧。民眾與警察多次推擠衝突，多人被銬上手銬帶走。

報導說，警方之前曾表示，聖誕期間將部署2到3千名警力，以應付人群管理及突發事件。

香港市民妮可：「兩天都有警方出來做警戒工作，他們是重兵把守，一排排的，然後這邊就是基督的傳福音傳佳音的形式，他們遊行或在警察的前面唱聖詩，他們把歌改了。我跟我老闆5個人到旺角看了一下，非常混亂，到(25號凌晨)1點多，西洋菜街和亞皆老街還放了胡椒水，還打幾個學生。」

熊立表示，佔中運動雖然被清場了，但它清不了人心，清不了香港的民主運動，香港各個階層的市民將會自發的，採用各種不同的方式繼續去抗爭。

Hong Kong Continues Universal Suffrage Fight on Christmas Eve

On the first Christmas Eve after Occupy Central, the fight for universal suffrage caroled on the streets of Hong Kong. Clashes broke out between the people and the police, many were arrested. Although the occupation was cleared, many believe that the kindling of democratic pursuit has rooted in all walks of life. The citizens will continue the spontaneous fight for democracy.

At 18:00 on the 24th, Hong Kong secondary school organization,Students Awaken, held a march of “Do not forget our original purpose.” There were hundreds of participants, including high school students and people who were arrested during the clearing of Admiralty, such as the 90-year-old Mr. Huang, the Social Democratic Alliance chairman Leung Kwok-hung, and member Tsang Kin-shing.

The procession started from Southorn Playground in Wan Chai. They held banners, “I want real universal suffrage" and hundreds of yellow umbrellas. They shouted slogans, “689 step down" (689 is CY Leung’s nickname), “Change begins with protest", “People are the hope", and “Restart (political reform) five steps" all the way to Central Government Offices.

Students Awaken convener Zhang Junhao, explained the event meant to demonstrate the umbrella movement has not ended and to show their support to the ones remaining on Tim Mei Avenue. He also said that the SA will continue their effort at schools and in the community to facilitate their aspirations. As for the second round of activity, it’s up to the result of the second phase of consultation on political reform.

Hong Kong Falun Gong Concern Group organizer Xiong Li believes the impact of Occupy Central, though cleared, is far-reaching on Hong Kong.

Xiong Li: “I’d summarize this event as 『achieving even though

not successful』. The dialogue never took place, but the kindling of democratic pursuit is widely spread in Hong Kong, through civil disobedience and the fight for universal suffrage. It has awakened the Hong Kong people, especially the younger generation. The meaning is significant. It has a far-reaching and long-term impact on Hong Kong."

During the demonstration, many mainland tourists were watching. Some expressed their support with thumbs up.

Xiong Li: “It will also have far-reaching impact on the mainland regime. Look at it this time, the PLA was not mobilized. There was no gun fire because of a historical lesson: the June 4 massacre. Support from the international community, strong civilian opinion, and pressure from all sides have stopped Xi Jinping from mobilizing the PLA. That means it has a role in changing the Communist Party."

The HKI-TKO Joint School Political Reform Concern Group also initiated a flash mob event on Christmas Eve. Around 10 of them held yellow umbrellas, singing theme songs of Occupy Central, walking for 10 kilometers through the Times Square in Causeway Bay and Central Government Offices on Admiralty.

The Shopping Revolution from Mongkok did not forget their original purpose either. About 200 people gathered at the junction of Sai Yeung Choi Street and Soy Street. Together, they sang the adapted song “Shopping everyday" with raised yellow umbrellas and distributing gold colored Christmas hats. Another 200 or so people also gathered at Sogo department store on Causeway Bay with propped yellow umbrella, caroling a Christmas wish, “I want real universal suffrage."

Xiong Li: “In response to CY Leung』s call for boosting economy by shopping in Mong Kok, they ironically shouted Leung’s slogan just to oppose him. The celebration of Christmas with yellow umbrellas and yellow outfits was to fight against Leung’s government. The shopping group will continue. Many people have joined them."

Daniel Ma, the convener of the UK consulate protest also invited two professors to talk about the interpretation of revolution from the Bible.

On the 24th night, clashes between the protesters and police took place in Mong Kok. Faced with a large number of people gathering and shouting, “We want real universal suffrage” in the streets of Mong Kok, the police repeatedly held yellow signs warning it is unauthorized illegal assembly and asked people to leave, but were responded to with boos. There were plainclothes police officers being surrounded, and police waving batons to disperse people or using pepper spray. Conflict erupted at times and many people were handcuffed and removed.

It was reported that police had decided to deploy 2-3 thousand police officers during Christmas to handle the crowd and emergencies.

Hong Kong resident Nicole: “There are police on alert these days. They are rows of heavily guarded police. But this side is occupied with Christmas carols and gospel. They marched and sang in front of the police. But the lyrics were changed. I went with my boss. It is very chaotic in Mong Kok. At around 1am, pepper spray was used on Sai Yeung Choi Street and Argyle Street. Some of the students were beaten too."

Xiong Li believes that the clearing of Occupy Central will never clear what’s on people』s mind. The democracy movement in Hong Kong will never be cleared. All walks of life in Hong Kong will continue the fight with all spontaneous means.
