【禁聞】「新清明上河圖」真實上演中國亂象

【新唐人2014年11月26日訊】《清明上河圖》是北宋名畫,描繪京城汴梁和汴河兩岸的繁榮景象。最近在大陸出現了現代版的「清明上河圖」。作者把近年來發生在中國大陸的社會事件,以劇情方式呈現。同樣一幅畫,穿越時空卻有兩極的社會現象。有評論說,這些「穿越」到清明上河圖中的場景,反映了中國社會最為引人注目的矛盾事件,背後是激烈的利益、權力之爭。

全長25公尺的現代版「新清明上河圖」,是大陸知名攝影家戴翔的最新作品,他以古畫「清明上河圖」為背景,以現代新聞圖片為原型,呈現當代大陸社會市井百態。

作者以畫面中的古今社會各階層的諸多角色,將當下社會典型性事件進行一些戲劇性擺拍並置入其中,以反襯矛盾與衝突。

文化評論家葉匡政:「它其實在以一種現代的方式來重新向這部作品致敬,當年的清明上河圖是表現當年的繁榮市井景象,而今天它表現的可能是被各種極權摧毀中的中國。」

這幅現代版的「清明上河圖」,真實呈現中國近幾年的社會亂象,展現了大約40個近年來的熱點事件,每個都反映了社會的不同側面。「我爸是李剛」、「徵爹求包養」取代了宋朝汴河兩岸的自然風光和繁榮市集。

跋扈的官二代,開著高級轎車撞倒兩名女生,一死一傷,下車第一句話就說「我爸是李剛」,就是說他是河北保定市公安局北市區分局副局長李剛的兒子,誰都惹不起。

而另一邊則是有紅裙女子坐在地上,展牌上寫著「徵爹求包養」,牌上註明身高體重三圍。這個造型明顯影射郭美美。2011年6月,郭美美因在微博炫富而引發關注,隨後更是將牽涉「郭美美事件」的中國紅十字會,推向前所未有的信任危機。

其他像是城管打人、挾屍要價、東莞掃黃、領導​​視察、地溝油等等,都被納入這幅「新清明上河圖」。

文化評論家葉匡政:「這個新的清明上河圖,其實也是在表達一個被審查之後更真實的中國,裡面發生很多事件都曾是這個社會的熱點事件。」

網友郭立仁說,畫面傳遞出的訊息太豐富了,這應該是古代藝術作品被挪用的經典之作,立體化呈現是亮點,當代刺點事件的植入,完全顛覆了原作所傳遞的「繁華、和諧、安寧」的氛圍,哪一件事都叫古人汗顏。

天安門民主女神的雕塑家陳維明:「這種展示也有人可能會認為這是表達社會的陰暗,我認為它其實是在表達一種社會正義和對現實生活的不滿、不公平,把這個不公平在藝術作品中給亮相出來,來尋求一種更公正的生活品質和公正的社會。」

從2011年開始,戴翔前後大約花了兩年半時間。「畫」中的九百多個人物造型,由一百多個模特兒扮演,其中有很多都是戴翔的同事、朋友幫忙,他自己也參與其中90多個角色,有警察、小偷、乞丐等。

作者戴翔在媒體上表示,作品裡肯定有批判性的因素,但是也提出了反思性的東西,希望對社會的良性進步有一些參與。

對於戴翔的這幅作品,大陸自由撰稿人鮑昆在他的博客中寫道,一個歷史的中國與當下的中國產生強烈的符號碰撞,​​緊跟著引出的問題就是——我們是誰?是哪個時代的「中國人」?今日之「中國人」與宋代的「中國人」是甚麼關係?我們出了甚麼問題?

網友陳冰回應,是我們的意識形態出了問題,中國人民在黨的領導下,既拋棄了自己古老文化中的優秀成分,如對自然、上天的敬畏和與人交往的禮義廉恥,又撿拾了資本主義世界的糟粕,如金錢利益至上和娛樂至死,於是就出現了這樣一幅新時代的《清明上河圖》。

New Painting Depicts New China Chaos

“A City of Cathay" is a renowned painting

from the Northern Song period.

It captures the prosperity of then capital Kaifeng along the river.

A modern version of this painting depicting social plots in China

was made available recently.

Across time and space, the paintings present societies

of two extremes.

The new version is a comment reflecting the most striking conflicts

in modern society caused by intense interests and power struggles.

Measuring 25-meters long, the new painting is attributed

to well-known photographer Dai Xiang.

Taking the famous scroll ‘A City of Cathay’ as the background,

Dai Xiang presents the modern marketplace with news photos.

The artist displays various sectors of present and past

to demonstrate dramatic scenes of typical incidents in

Communist society reflecting the contradictions and conflicts.

Cultural critic Ye Kuangzheng: “In fact, it is to pay tribute

to the old scroll in a modern way.

Then ‘A City of Cathay’ illustrated the prosperity in China,

the new painting demonstrated the ruined China

under totalitarianism."

This ‘New City of Cathay’ vividly presents social chaos

in modern China; around 40 hot news items in recent years

are honestly shown in photos to reflect different aspects

of Chinese society.

For instance, “My dad is Li Gang" and “Seeking a wealthy dad"

have replaced the natural scenery and popular marketplace

in the Northern Song period.

A car accident of the domineering offspring of an official

killed one and injured another.

The first sentence he said after getting out of the car was,

“My dad is Li Gang."

That means he is the son of Li Gang, a deputy director

of a public security bureau, whom no one can afford to offend.

While there was also a woman in red dress sitting on the ground

with a board that stated, “Seeking a wealthy dad" along with

her height, weight, and body proportions.

This exhibition clearly alluded to Guo Meimei who was known

to show off her wealth online.

Her case has also jeopardized the credibility

of China Red Cross which was associated with Guo Meimei.

Other scenes such as urban and city management

engaging in beating ordinary people,

rescuers demanding high price before rescuing

the drowning victims,

Dongguan anti-porn campaign, waste oil, and so forth

are also depicted on the “New City of Cathay".

Ye Kuangzheng: “This new painting, in fact, expresses

a very realistic Chinese society under the censorship.

Many incidents are common in this society."

Netizen Guo Liren praised the rich message conveyed

through this new image.

This is a classic of transforming ancient works of art

to modern work.

The three-dimensional highlights the image; the

contemporary incidents have completely subverted the

“bustling, harmonious, peaceful" atmosphere of the original.

Any given incident will make the ancient beings

ashamed of the modern time.

Tiananmen democracy goddess sculptor Chen Weiming:

“This display could be considered an expression of the dark side.

But, I think it is an expression of conscience.

It shows the dissatisfaction and injustice of a modern society.

This art exhibition of injustice is hoping to point the way

to a better life and a fair and just society."

Starting in 2011, Dai Xiang spent about two and a half years

in creating this art work.

More than 900 characters in the work were modeled

and played by more than 100 people, including many

of Dai Xiang’s co-workers and friends.

Dai Xiang also played more than 90 different roles,

such as police, thief, beggar and so on.

Dai Xiang told Chinese media that the work is surely critical,

but also encourages reflection, and hopes to bring positive

progress to society.

Mainland freelance writer Bao Kun wrote in his blog,

a strong symbolic impact between the historical China

and the China of today.

The question is, who are we?

What is our era?

What is the relation between the Chinese today

and the Chinese of the Song Dynasty?

What went wrong with us?

A netizen, Chen Bing, responded,

it is our ideology that went wrong.

Under the leadership of the party, the Chinese have abandoned

the excellent ancient culture, such as awe for nature

and heaven and the four social bonds, sense of propriety,

justice, integrity and honor,

but picked up the dross from capitalism,

such as money and interests first and entertainment to death.

That’s why the “New City of Cathay" has emerged.
