Facebook

Three Members of Kunming Terror Gang Were Arrested

Prior to Killings

Chinese Caixin’s exclusive report on March 11 claimed

that three of the eight attackers in the Kunming murder were

arrested on Feb 27 in Shatian town, Yunnan province.

This report was later deleted.

Commentators believe the regime is hiding the truth of the

Yunnan murder.

Caixin quoted a police source that 8 attackers of the Kunming

murder had settled in Shatian town earlier.

They had tried homemade explosives but failed.

Three of them were arrested on Feb. 27.

The remaining five fled to Kunming in a rented vehicle, where

they planned and executed the tragic, massacre in Kunming

on March 1.

The article was removed from the Caixin website after a few

hours; but still searchable on Tencent, Sohu and Sina website.

Former Caixin investigative reporter Pang Jiaoming believes

Caixin’s report is reliable.

Pang Jiaoming, former Caixin Media investigative reporter:

“There is no doubt that Caixin would not publish something

if it’s not confirmed."

Former China Ocean News reporter Zan Aizong indicates that

if what Caixin has reported is true,

it shows the poor response and capacity of Yunnan to

terrorism, security, and violent offenses.

Zan Aizong, former reporter of China Ocean News:

“At least the local police have to take the responsibility.

If they already knew that the gang was planning the incident,

they should have set up the road block to chase them down.

Now there were more than 100 people injured.

The Yunnan police and Yunnan government should take the

responsibility.

They had the information, but they did not stop it from

happening."

On March 4, Yunnan Provincial Party Secretary Qin Guangrong

reported the Kunming incident on behalf of the Yunnan delegation

during the Second Session of the National People’s Congress.

He mentioned three other fugitives were arrested, but deliberately

hid the time of arrest.

Zan Aizong: “If you truly want people to relax, the truth about

the violent crime needs to be released:

Such as: What happened on the 27th? What happened on March 1?

What has happened between Feb 27 and March 1?

Once it’s publicized, then weigh up who is responsible.

But now, everything is unclear except that some are dead and

others injured; and the gangsters were either killed or arrested.

Nothing about the logistics, relationships, or background

have been revealed."

Zan Aizong questions the background and the struggles of various

forces behind the killing.

Since nothing is open, it is hard for people to learn the truth.

Therefore, he believes it is urgent for the government to release

the facts.

After the Kunming killing, Southern Weekly reporter Feng Xiang

commented in the microblog,

“The regime never tells you what really happened. You are

only given blind hatred, inexplicable fear, confused life and

unjust death."

Feng Xiang told NTD on March 12 that more facts are still

awaiting to be discovered.

Feng Xiang, Southern Weekly reporter: “I still don’t understand

why it happened. Why did they kill the people?

What are the situations of those who died and were injured?

There are so many things we don’t know."

Microblog writer Yan Ming wrote: “It is not right to maintain

stability by force. We should find the root of their hatred.

That will be the right way to resolve the conflict."

This account has now been deleted.

The Communist regime have issued warnings about those

Comments.

Beijing Internet security police posted screenshots of five accounts.

Police commented that these accounts are “ignoring the fact

of Kunming murder, distorting the situation, and hurting the

feelings of the people."

In addition to warning these five people, the police have

arrested 45 people after the Kunming murder and claimed that

their posts are rumors which could create social instability.
