The Communist China’s Live Organ Harvesting Exposed in Hong Kong
Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH)
launched a petition in June.
As of November, they received
about a million signatures.
Hong Kong’s Falun Gong practitioners held events
to celebrate the ninth year anniversary of the publication
of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party
(Nine Commentaries).
Meanwhile, they held a series of activities
against forced organ harvesting.
Hong Kong members of the Legislative Council (MLC)
and celebrities spoke at the rally.
They called for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
to stop the live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners.
They gave their support to the 150 million Chinese people
who renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Last Thursday, a seminar against the CCP live organ
harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners
was held in Hong Kong’s Legislative Council.
On Nov. 30, about 900 Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners
held a rally.
Renowned Human Rights Attorney David Matas questioned
in the seminar where the huge organ resources come from in China.
David Matas: “I have an answer. Your organs for transplants come mostly from practitioners of the spiritually based set of exercises Falun Gong convicted of nothing and sentenced to nothing. You have banned the practice of Falun Gong without reason and vilified its practitioners. You have arrested the adherents and tortured them into recantation. Those who do not recant, in the hundreds of thousands, have disappeared into your re-education through labour camps. These camps are vast forced organ donor banks.”
Theresa Chu, legal consultant of DAFOH Asia Region says
that the petition signers likely will exceed one million.
DAFOH suggests establishing a cross-border alliance
with members of parliament.
Theresa Chu: “Today, the alliance against the CCP live
organ harvesting, initiated by Hong Kong MLCs
and Taiwan members of parliament.”
Several Hong Kong MLCs and celebrities came to support.
They condemned the CCP’s brutality.
Meanwhile they urged everyone
to stop the persecution together.
Leung Kwok-hung, Hong Kong MLC: “I also hope
Hong Kong MLCs will speak out until every Hong Kong
person knows about the persecution;
Until the live organ harvesting no longer exists;
Until Hong Kong is no longer the place
of human organ trafficking.”
James Ho, spokesman at League to Defend Hong Kong
Freedom: “The live organ harvesting is so inhumane and brutal.
How can’t we speak out?
Being a human with a conscience, how can we allow
the CCP to continue to kill our people?
We must urge everyone to support Falun Gong’s
signatory campaign.
We must let Hong Kong people and the world’s people
to see it is illegal to live organ harvest.”
Tsang Kin-shing, founder of Hong Kong’s Citizens’ Radio:
“So if we don’t stand up to support Falun Gong today,
tomorrow the victim could be you.”
The next morning, Falun Gong practitioners gathered
at Cheung Sha Wan Playground to demonstrate the exercises.
In the afternoon, they held a rally for the nine year
anniversary of the publishing of the Nine Commentaries.
“Quit the CCP”; “Quit the Communist Youth League”;
“Quit the Young Pioneers.”
“To peacefully eliminate the CCP”; “The heaven eliminates
the CCP”; “Quit the CCP to secure a life.”
Guo Jun, chief editor of the Epoch Times,
publisher of the Nine Commentaries,
said that the publishing of the Nine Commentaries
in China brought people’s awakening.
More than 150 million people have quit the CCP
and its affiliated organizations.
The figures increase everyday.
Guo Jun: “The CCP is the state cult religion,
which has been used to rule the country.
The CCP controls people’s thought
and violates methods of running the country.
The CCP has involved all Chinese people in politics.
The Nine Commentaries and the renouncing the CCP
campaign have successfully helped millions of Chinese
people to get rid of the CCP’s evil rule, get rid of the CCP’s
spiritual shackles and ties and instead walk into a new life,
finding the moral courage.
It is disintegrating the CCP.
Since the Nine Commentaries were published nine years ago,
it has brought China and the world great changes.”
At two o’clock on Nov. 30, the parade started from
Cheung Sha Wan Playground.
They passed the central Kowloon district,
attracting many tourists from Mainland China.
Ms. Li, tourist from Mainland China: “In Hong Kong,
if one wants to speak, one can do it on the street.
It is very free, great!”
Ms. Chen, tourist from China: “I’m astonished!
I hadn’t thought that such things could have taken place
in China.
If live organ harvesting is true,
I completely support Falun Gong practitioners.
After all, everyone has the freedom to enjoy
their human rights!”
A tourist from China: “I came from China.
It’s the first time I’ve seen a Falun Gong parade.
They look so peaceful.
We all have the freedom of speech.”
At around 5 p.m. in the afternoon, the parade reached
the destination, Tsim Sha Tsui pier.
The activity concluded at nightfall.
