【新唐人2012年7月18日訊】美國2012年總統大選進入了「最緊張的階段」，奧巴馬總統7月14號在維吉尼亞州拉票演講時遭遇大雨，被淋成「落湯雞」，但仍完成了激情演說。奇怪的是，自始至終不見有人為奧巴馬撐傘避雨。此事，引發了中國民眾的關注並被廣泛轉載。中國問題專家認為，大陸官場的現象與民主國家完全相反，當官者「不擺譜」反而顯示不出他的權勢，而領導人的產生與民眾無關，老百姓的地位因此無足輕重。
奧巴馬7月14號來到維吉尼亞州府裡士滿附近一個小鎮上，發表演講時遭遇暴雨，臺上奧巴馬的藍色襯衫已完全被淋透，雨水不停的從他的臉上流下來，始終沒有人為他打傘。
共有約900名聽眾聚集在奧巴馬的演講現場。人群中不時發出陣陣歡呼聲高喊：「再當4年！」瓢潑大雨似乎無法澆滅他們的熱情。
11月的大選日益迫近，民調顯示，奧巴馬與羅姆尼的支持率非常接近，所以奧巴馬不敢怠慢。在當天的演講中，奧巴馬試圖拉近與底層民眾的距離。
演講快結束的時候，雨勢更大了，奧巴馬還風趣的開玩笑說：「我就要講完了，不過反正大家都被淋濕了，也無所謂，只是很多人髮型不保了。」
對此，政論家胡平指出，民主國家的總統靠民眾的選票才能當選，因此必須與民眾打成一片，要讓老百姓把他當成自己人。中國領導人與此相反，他們不指望老百姓擁護，不擺譜反而顯示不出他的權勢，不能讓老百姓害怕，所以處處要與老百姓拉開距離。
政論家胡平：「你要擺出一個架子來，和下面的選民有距離，從這一條，就不投你的票了。所以，他們這些民主國家從政的人，他總是處處注意，總是要和普通老百姓打成一片。那和中國官場當然就完全相反，中國的官場唯恐表現不出來他比民眾高人一等。」
身為第一強國的總統遭遇大雨卻無人給打傘，引起了中國民眾的極大興趣，也引起了網民的對比。
去年8月，位於中國湖北省宜昌市境內的「葛洲壩」立起毛澤東的雕像，毛澤東的孫子毛新宇為雕像揭幕，當天烈日驕陽，有專人負責為毛新宇打傘。
另外，被稱為大陸「最年輕市長」的周森鋒視察工作時，讓下屬為他打傘。
而早在2005年6月，在重慶大渡口區九宮廟街道主辦的「關愛女孩」活動中，9名四、五歲的小女孩在大雨中為觀眾表演舞蹈，坐在第一排觀看的有關部門領導，則由專人撐傘，在雨中觀看。
獨立中國問題學家鞏勝利指出，在美國，是公民撐起了這個國家，是國家真正的主人，而中國的主人是官，不是老百姓，自中共當政六十幾年以來，都是這樣。
獨立中國問題學家鞏勝利：「中國這樣的事情太多了。你比如說像新疆克拉瑪依那次大火燒死了很多學生，失火了以後，燒死了很多學生。這在中國好像屢見不鮮。他沒有這種環境，也沒有這種意識，就是老百姓是他的衣食父母官，這種感覺都沒有。」
1994年12月8號，新疆克拉瑪依市「友誼館」劇場的大火和濃煙裡，有人大喝一聲：「學生們不要動，讓領導先走！」
26名上級政府與教育局的頭頭們頗有風度的步出禮堂，而後，288個幼小的生命和他們的幾十位老師共325人葬身火海中。
那位大喊「學生不要動！讓領導先走！」的市教委官員後來升職當了克拉瑪依市市長。
鞏勝利認為，出現這種現象的主要原因是，中國不是一個民主國家，更沒有法制環境，領導人的產生與民眾無關，所以老百姓的地位也就無足輕重。

In-the-Rain Obama vs. Under-Umbrella CCP Officials
The 2012 U.S. presidential election has entered into
it’s most intense stage.
During his campaign event in Virginia on July 14th,
President Barack Obama encountered a heavy rain shower.
He carried on with his speech until the end despite
the heavy rain and nobody held an umbrella for him.
The news aroused great public attention in China and
was widely circulated on the internet.
Commentators say that China’s officialdom is completely
the opposite to that of democratic countries.
The officials of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) tried
everything to show off to display their power and influence.
The election of CCP officers is not based on civilian votes,
so making the Chinese public of little importance.
U.S. President Obama was caught in a heavy rainstorm
while campaigning in a small town in Virginia on July 14th.
His blue shirt was totally soaked and rain dripped from his face.
No umbrella was held over his head.
About 900 people were gathered to hear Obama’s speech,
who kept chanting, “Four more years!"
The pouring rain did not reduce the crowd’s enthusiasm.
Polls showed that this appears to be a close race between
Obama and Romney for this November』s president election.
During his campaign rally, Obama sought a closer approach
to the underclass masses.
Toward the end of the speech, when the rain still continued,
Obama said “Everybody’s wet anyway, so it doesn’t matter.
It’s too late. Those hairdos are all gone.”
Political critic Hu Ping comments that winning election
in a democratic country relies on the popular vote.
That means the candidate has to make himself recognized
and accepted by civilians, says Hu Ping.
On the contrary in China, where the leaders deliberately
distance themselves from the masses,
the CCP officials at all levels show off to exhibit power and
influence to threaten the public, Hu Ping remarks.
Hu Ping: “Putting on airs in front of the voters won’t let you
win one vote from them.
So politicians in the democratic country always are quite
modest when getting along with the ordinary people.
It’s exactly the opposite in China』s officialdom, where officials
crave nothing short of being superior to civilians.”
Obama’s suffering downpour sparked great interests
amongst Chinese citizens.
They made comparison between him and the CCP officials
on the internet.
In August 2011, at the unveiling ceremony of the statue of
Mao Zedong held in Gezhouba, Yichang, Hubei Province,
Mao’s grandson, Mao Xinyu, avoided sun exposure with an
umbrella held by some staff.
Zhou Senfeng, known as “the youngest mayor” in China,
had his junior hold an umbrella for him on an inspection visit.
Back in June 2005, in Dadukou District in Chongqing, during
a “Care For Girls" activity organized by the local authorities,
nine four or five year old girls were dancing in rain.
Among the audience, the CCP leaders sitting in the front row
were all watching under umbrellas held by the staff.
Gong Shengli, a scholar in China affairs, says that the
U.S. citizens are the true masters of the country.
However in China, the CCP officials became the master.
This has been China’s reality since the CCP came into
power some 60 years ago.
Gong Shengli: “Too many similar cases happened in China.
Such as the Karamay Fire in Xinjiang, killing a lot of students.
Chinese officials seem accustomed to such tragedies.
They have not realized that civilians are actually the source
of their food, clothing and lives."
In December 1994, a devastating fire broke out
in a theater in Karamay, Xinjiang.
During the fire and heavy smoke, someone shouted,
“The students stay, let the leaders walk out first!"
26 CCP leaders from local education departments and
higher level authorities left the theater.
They left behind 288 children and dozens of teachers
to perish in the flames, a total loss of 325 lives.
The person who shouted, an official from the city’s Board of
Education, was later promoted to mayor of Karamay.
Gong Shengli says that the main reason behind such actions
are lack of democracies and rule of law in China.
The election of officers is not based on the ordinary civilian
votes, which makes the Chinese populace insignificant.
