Citizens Blame Jackie Chan:A Mental Midget with Strong Servility
Jackie Chan was born in Hong Kong and is an international
martial arts movie star.
He did a surprising act recently after he said in 2009 that
“Chinese need be controlled”.
Few days ago, when he was interviewed by a Chinese
media, he criticized that Hong Kong has changed into a “Protest City”.
He suggested to restrict the protest in Hong Kong.
He advocated “use violence to stop violence”.
Chan’s words attracted blame
from almost all sides.
When he was interviewed by the Southern People Weekly,
Jackie Chan said Hong Kong has changed into “Protest City”.
He said the government should restrict which protest can be
allowed and which one can’t.
He said Hong Kong people “scold China, scold the leaders,
scold anything, protest against anything."
He was very dissatisfied on this, and he supports
the regime no matter who takes the lead.
Tsoi Wing Mui, deputy editor of Hong Kong Open magazine:
“Protest is our right.
Hong Kong people have no doubt on this.
People have the right to speak.
China’s constitution also said that people have
protest rights.
The issue is that the Chinese regime doesn’t follow its
constitution.
China is ruled by people, but Hong kong
is ruled by law.”
Hong Kong Ming Pao quoted Wang Haoxian, the deputy
convener of Hong Kong Civil Human Rights Front,
Jackie Chan’s suggestion to restrict the protest
is a “shame”.
He said that maybe Chan is too rich to understand that
Hong Kong people have to protest for their rights.
Jackie Chan also said that in the British era, there wasn’t
so much protest because of the strict control by the British.
Ms Lin, a Hong Kong citizen: “I think the reason why
Hong Kong has so many protests.
The new leader Leung Chun-ying is a secret member of
Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
His policy is more CCP oriented compared
with the former two.
He did many ugly things namely.
Everybody knows the ‘Against National Education’ action.
Why did society have such a strong rebound?
Because nobody wants their children
Educated like the children in Mainland China.
They are educated the CCP culture,
and they are fooled into losing their own judgment.”
Lin also pointed out that there are signs that Hong Kong’s
policy has begun to be painted in red, to be “communization”.
These made Hong Kong people, including
the Judiciary worried.
That’s another main reason why
Hong Kong has so many protests now.
Miss Lin:"For example, the regime uses ‘Hong Kong Youth
Care Association’ to attack the truth sites of Falun Gong.
It wanted to break the Falun Gong group first,
then will break all the non-governmental organizations.”
The public is angered by Jackie Chan’s words
in recent years.
In 2009, he said in Boao Forum that “Hong Kong and Taiwan
have too much freedom”, “Chinese should be controlled”.
This time he mentioned these words again, and said that
he didn’t feel sad although he had been criticized.
Tsoi Wing Mui said that Jackie Chan has a strong servility.
He isn’t like a person who lives in the 21st century.
Tsoi Wing Mui: “Jackie Chan’s consciousness is still stuck
in the 19th century.
I feel this person hasn’t a consciousness of
modern civilization.
Even CCP is shy to say those words.
In 1800s, many people had this kind of servility
when they were controlled by the imperial power.
They were worshiping the imperial power.
In Jackie Chan’s words, he sounds like a person
who has never been educated by modern civilization.
He has strong servility.”
Tsoi Wing Mui thought Jackie Chan hasn’t any sense of
the basic universal values like freedom, democracy, equality and human rights.
Tsoi Wing Mui: “Jackie Chan shouldn’t speak.
Once he spoke, he disgraced himself.
I felt he is like a clown, although he is a movie star
with a strong body, but he is a dwarf in spirit.”
When Jackie Chan was asked whether he has wanted to be
a congressman or a political official, he answered that the congressman should be decorous,
but he thinks “it will be the best if can solve the issue
by violence”.
He also said “We need to use violence to treat the people
who used violence and don’t follow the rules.”
He said when he was in Taiwan, he used a knife to
puncture the tires of the car in chaos.
Jackie Chan also said that he isn’t against the thief.
“The person will be a talent if he can steal the gold
from HSBC without hurting anybody.
But he will not be forgivable if he hurt others.”
Facing the serious criticism, Jackie Chan responded
by micro-blog on December 13.
He claimed that he failed chose the right words to
express his meaning.
Ms. Lin said, since Jackie Chan said some logically
wrong words for his interests,
many Hong Kong people didn’t like him any more.
Now people doesn’t think highly of him.
