1月26號，一年一度的澳大利亞國慶日盛裝大遊行在墨爾本舉行，當地有一百多個團體參加，應邀參加遊行的法輪功隊伍，受到主辦方和觀眾的熱烈歡迎。
據「法輪大法明慧網」報導，法輪功平靜祥和的功法展示、天國樂團威武雄壯的樂曲、還有美麗的扇子舞表演，都讓在場的人們歡呼、讚歎。
主持人在介紹法輪功隊伍時說，法輪大法是一種古老的修煉打坐功法，她基於普世原則——真善忍，修煉者遍及澳大利亞和全世界100多個國家。
他說，法輪大法免費教功，歡迎所有人來嚐試這一安靜祥和的功法。
傳去年12機場禁飛 為捉周永康
香港軍事評論員梁國樑，1月27號在《明報》發表文章透露，中共當局為了逮捕前中央政治局常委周永康，曾下令華東和華中12個機場禁飛。
去年7月中旬，華東多個機場起降延誤，數天後，官方纔「通報」，是受到軍事演習影響。此事當時引發境外媒體和國際關注，認為與當時緊張的中日關係和東海防空識別區的設立有關。
梁國樑的文章說，最近透露出來的內幕消息顯示，這次禁飛是為了捉拿企圖外逃的周永康。
文章表示，這次禁飛是繼「林彪事件」後的第2次，據說是由中共黨魁習近平親自頒令，也只有他才有跨越軍、民兩大系統的權力。
內蒙牧民政府大樓上吊身亡
內蒙古錫林郭勒盟阿巴嘎旗牧民特木勒，因多次抗議牧場徵用賠償費不到位無果，1月19號在當地政府大樓的鐵門上上吊自殺。
《自由亞洲電臺》引述「南蒙古人權信息中心」的消息說，特木勒生前曾組織牧民上訪，要求當局懲處貪腐官員，為牧民提供補償。

Falun Gong Practitioners Warmly Welcomed at Australian National Day Parade
On Jan.26, more than 100 local groups participated in
the National Day Parade in Melbourne.
Falun Gong practitioners were invited to enter, and were
warmly applauded by sponsors and audiences.
According to Minghui (minghui.org), Falun Gong’s peaceful
participation,
the mighty and powerful performance of the Celestial Band,
and the graceful fan dance received applause from audiences.
When introducing Falun Gong, the Master of Ceremonies said
that Falun Dafa is a practice of meditation and cultivation
with a long history; the practice follows universal principals of
“Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”; currently the
practice had spread to over 100 countries as well as Australia.
The introduction also said that, Falun Dafa is free to learn,
and all are welcome to have a try of this peaceful practice.
Ming Pao: Flight Ban Was Issued to Capture Zhou Yongkang Last July
On Jan.27, Ming Pao published an article written by
Hong Kong military commentator Liang Guodong.
The article revealed that the Chinese Communist Party
(CCP) had issued a flight ban covering 12 airports in East
and Central China, in order to arrest former Politburo
Standing Committee member Zhou Yongkang.
In mid-July 2013, mass flight delays occurred at airports
in East China.
Days afterwards, the CCP “announced” that the delay was
caused by military exercises.
The incident had drawn wide attention from foreign media.
Many speculated that the delay was related to China-Japan
tensions and the introduction of The East China Sea Air
Defense Identification Zone.
However, Liang’s article said leaked inside information
suggested that the ban was to capture Zhou Yongkang,
who was about to flee at that moment.
The article commented that, it was the second time
that a flight ban was issued, following the Lin Biao Incident.
It was said CCP President Xi Jinping issued the order.
Indeed Xi is the only individual who has power over
both military and civil systems.
Inner Mongolian Herdsman Hung at Local Government Gate
Temule, a herdsman living in Abag Banner, Xilingol League,
Inner Mongolia, hung himself at the gate of the local
government building on Jan.19.
The suicide occurred after Temule received no response
despite many rounds of protest against embezzlement
of compensation for land expropriation.
A Radio Free Asia report quoted Southern Mongolian
Human Rights Information Center.
The report said that Temule had organized a herdsmen petition
demanding punishment of corrupt officials, and
compensation for herdsmen whose land was expropriated.
