張文龍遭迫害精神失常 鄉鄰簽名營救
吉林榆樹市土橋鎮57歲的法輪功學員張文龍，在去年2月份去鄰縣發放法輪大法的真相資料時，被警察非法綁架，五常市公檢法不走法律程序迅速冤判張文龍3年，直接送到哈爾濱市呼蘭監獄集訓隊關押。在獄中張文龍遭到酷刑迫害，門牙被打掉兩顆，身體骨瘦如柴，而且精神失常。
今年1月12號，張文龍兒子的張彪等家人在監獄接見張文龍結束時，看到張文龍在返回監舍的過程中，被犯人連推帶搡，對他的處境十分憂心。回村後向鄉鄰訴說張文龍在監獄被迫害的情況，村民都簽名按手印，證明張文龍是遵紀守法的大好人，原來一身病，經過修煉法輪功全都痊癒，而且張文龍在沒被綁架前也是一個正常人。
到目前為止，簽名按手印呼籲釋放張文龍的村民已有上百人。
廣東農民工討薪遭警察毆打
廣東韶關市新豐縣名家物流城工地的130名建築工人，因為老闆欠款跑路，前往縣政府請願，但遭到警察驅趕和毆打，有10多人被抓，12人被打傷，其中2人重傷。
廣西村民維權數十人被抓
廣西河池市都安縣高嶺鎮定福村福來屯的村官，與前河池市長黃德意的弟弟黃德平，不顧村民反對，在村內開辦採石廠，強行炸山採石破壞環境，引發村民的不滿。18號，數十名村民前往都安縣鎮政府門前靜坐，希望當地政府能夠及時制止這種違法行為，但是遭到警察的鎮壓，參加請願的所有村民都被抓走。

Let’s look at the brave rights defending activities
of the repressed Chinese people.
Villagers Collect Signatures to Rescue Zhang Wenlong
Zhang Wenlong is a 57-year-old Falun Gong practitioner
from Yushu City, Jilin Province.
He was illegally abducted by police in February last year
for distributing pamphlets about the truth of Falun Gong,
also known as Falun Dafa.
The local court illegally sentenced him to three years in jail
without trial.
He has since been detained in Harbin City prison.
Zhang had his front teeth knocked out, lost a lot of weight and
became mentally disordered from the torture and abuse in jail.
His situation caused his family great concern especially
when they saw how other prisoners pushed and shoved
him during their visit to the prison on Jan. 12.
After his family explained the situation to the village cadres,
a document was issued by the cadres to prove Zhang Wenlong
has been a law-abiding person, and had been sound and healthy
since practicing Falun Gong.
Villagers have endorsed this document with their thumbprints.
So far, hundreds of villagers have also signed with thumbprints
on a petition to call for the release of Zhang Wenlong.
Guangdong Police Beat Petitioning Migrant Workers
Owner of a construction project ran away with money
leading 130 migrant workers to seek help from the local
government of Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province.
But police were at the scene to drive the petitioners away
and beat them.
Ten were arrested and 12 were wounded.
Two of them were seriously injured.
Dozens of Guangxi Villagers Were Arrested in a Protest
Local official of Hechi City, Guangxi Province, ignoring
villagers’ opposition, ran a quarry with former mayor’s brother,
Huang Deping.
The blasting of the mountain has damaged the environment
and angered the villagers.
On the 18th, dozens of villagers protested with a sit-in
in front of the town hall, hoping the government will stop
the illegal practice in a timely manner.
But they were faced with police suppression.
All participating villagers were arrested.
Former Bank Employees Arrested for Seeking Justice
According to Civil Rights & Livelihood Watch online report
on the 19th, about 100 former employees of Agricultural Bank
of Hubei Province, protested in front of the bank.
They are a group of employees the bank has provided a buy-off
offer, but hoping the bank leadership will come forward
to resolve issues.
They were only faced with police and no response from the bank.
During the dispute with the police, four of them were arrested.
