【新唐人2014年11月15日訊】赴京前夕 香港學聯致函李克強
香港學聯秘書長周永康、常務秘書鍾耀華，以及常委羅冠聰，決定11月15號前往北京，出發前夕，他們公開了一封致中共國家總理李克強的信。
據香港《蘋果日報》報導，這封題為「時代的選擇，人民的呼聲」的信，是學生們「坐在香港的街道上」寫的。
信中說，自9月底以來，香港幾個主要街道上坐滿了學生和市民，那是在爭取自己應有的政治權利，而不是甚麼「反對派的密謀」和「境外敵對勢力」指使。
信中呼籲，李克強作為中共主管香港事務的最高級官員，應該直接聆聽數十萬港人心聲，而不是單單偏聽來自「有關部門」的各種報告。
學生們在信中強調說，他們這一代年青人，從出生開始，最深的感受就是「香港是個不公不義，機會極度不平等，並由極少數權貴把持政治經濟命脈，叫人感到絕望的城市」。
美國會新法案 支持香港民主自由
11月13號，美國國會多位議員提出一項有關香港人權和民主的新法案，重新確認美國對維護香港自由民主的承諾。
據《自由亞洲電臺》報導，新推出的法案將對《美國-香港政策法》作出更新，監督北京對香港民主許下的承諾，每年對香港作出評估報告。
1992年設立的《美國-香港政策法》，在政治、經濟、貿易各方面，都將香港與中國大陸區別看待，並給予香港諸多優惠。
官員狩獵 農婦被當野豬遭擊斃
湖南省衡陽市日前發生駭人聽聞的槍殺農民案，有多名公職人員開車上山，懷疑是要進行非法打獵活動。這其間，一名女性農民疑被當成野豬，遭開槍轟爆頭部及肺部，當場死亡。
據大陸《新京報》報導，這件命案11月9號發生在湖南省衡陽市衡東縣高湖鎮羊角村，死者是羊角村二組村民羅運英，終年57歲。報導說，案發足足3天後，衡陽當地官方還有警方都沒有正式通報。
這件事情被披露後，引起中國大陸網民的震怒，網民紛紛譴責說：「官員徵地時，強拆的是農民地，官員打獵時，最先打死的獵物也是農民！」
據報導，事後有一名藥監局的職員向警方自首，但是網民懷疑他只是一隻替罪羊。

Hong Kong Federation of Students Send Letter to Li Keqiang
HKFS Secretary General, Zhou Yongkang, Permanent Secretary, Zhong Yaohua, as well as Standing Committee member, Luo Guancong, decide to go to Beijing November 15th. Before leaving, they issued a public letter to PRC Premier Li Keqiang.
According to Hong Kong Apple Daily report, the letter entitled “Era’s choice; People’s voice" was written by students sitting on the street in Hong Kong.
The letter said that since the end of September, several main streets were full of students and Hong Kong people who were fighting for their rights on their own; not by instigation of overseas hostile forces or opposition conspiracy.
The letter called for the most senior official in charge of Hong Kong affairs, Li Keqiang, to listen directly to the voice of hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong people, rather than to a variety of reports from related departments.
Students stressed in the letter that their deepest feeling from birth is that Hong Kong is an unjust, extremely unequal place whose political and economic life is dominated by a handful of powerful interests. People are desperate about it."
US Congress Bill to Support Hong Kong Democratic Freedom
November 13, several Congress Members proposed a new bill on Hong Kong human rights and democracy. It re-confirmed the US promise on the maintenance of Hong Kong freedom and democracy.
According to Radio Free Asia report, the new bill would update US – Hong Kong Policy Act; supervise Beijing’s commitment to Hong Kong democracy and make an annual assessment report on Hong Kong.
The American – Hong Kong Policy Act established in 1992 treated Hong Kong differently from mainland in politics, economy and trade. It also gave Hong Kong a lot of concessions.
Countrywoman Killed Like Wild Boar as Officials Hunt
Several public officers suspected of illegal hunting on the mountain, killed a farmer in Henan province Hengyang city. A female farmer shot in head and lungs like a wild boar, died.
According to the mainland Beijing News report, the killing occurred on November 9th in Yangjiao village of Hengyang City, Hunan Province. The deceased was Yangjiao villager Luo Yunying, aged 57 years. The report says there was no official notification even three days after the incident.
The incident made mainland netizens angry. They asserted: “When the official demands land, the first demolition is farmers’ land; when the official hunts, the first prey killed are farmers!"
It’s said a Food and Drug Administration staff member surrendered to police. But netizens suspect he was just a scapegoat.
