【新唐人2014年09月30日訊】連日來，香港緊張局勢不斷升溫，引發國際媒體聚焦和各界聲援，但是大陸媒卻集體噤聲。有海外網站披露，中共中宣部禁止陸媒報導「佔中」。29號，中共喉舌聲稱，有人打著「爭民主」旗號衝擊香港政府，萬一事態有變，將增派武警進入香港鎮壓。
數萬名香港市民和學生，連日聚集在政府總部抗議人大政改方案，遭到香港警察的毆打、抓捕，以及施放胡椒粉霧、瓦催淚彈甚至開槍鎮壓。9月28號，29號，國際各大媒體，包括CNN、BBC、路透社、法新社、美聯社、華爾街日報等，紛紛在大頭條聚焦香港民眾和平抗爭。
美國之音說，「佔領中環」運動28號提前啟動，超過10萬人走上街頭，香港警方向民眾發射多枚催淚彈，局勢一觸即發﹔義大利《共和報》說：「就像25年前在天安門一樣，北京為了捍衛共產黨的權威體制，又開始毆打和逮捕學生」﹔美國CNN說：「香港癱瘓了」﹔英國BBC說：「香港示威充斥催淚瓦斯與衝突」。
就在國際媒體聚焦香港之際，大陸媒體卻集體噤聲，央視沒有提到一個字，各大門戶網站也沒有相關訊息，大陸網路上屏蔽所有相關新聞。
有海外網站披露，中宣部對香港「佔中」報導下發密令：要求各網站立即清理相關信息，。各媒體對香港發生的事暫時不報導。
28號，北京駐港中聯辦發聲明，說「佔領中環」是非法集會。並堅持，中共人大的決定「不容挑戰」。29號，人民網也發通稿，聲稱「佔中」非法。
《環球時報》旗下的環球網，29號更是刊登一篇署名為「武警政治學院副教授王強」的文章，聲稱針對香港民眾的佔領抗爭行動，香港警察如果「力不從心」，武警可進入香港協助鎮壓。當天下午，環球網已經將該文刪除。
中國民運人士楊建利：「現在『和平香港』行動在國際上造成很大的聲勢，就是用國際社會聲音來警告中國政府，任何的武力的鎮壓將會受到國際社會的堅決反對，也會受到國際社會的懲罰。」
不過，由於中共長期鎮壓民眾、壓制言論，以及「六四」屠城等惡劣記錄，楊建利擔心，第二次「天安門事件」在香港重演。
香港《蘋果日報》29號發表題為「喪心病狂的專權政府，滾吧」的社論指出，港人的活動是「理性非暴力的」，但這個喪心病狂的政府，橫蠻無理殘暴不仁的689政權，以及鎮壓市民紅了眼的警隊，傷透了港人的心。
社論表示，港人爭民主的決心絕不會削弱，每一次的鎮壓 ，只會讓689政府進一步破產，讓港人的決心更堅定。
《北京之春》雜誌主編胡平認為，中共對香港的方針是「不妥協，不流血」，雖然一時不會讓步，但也不大可能出現類似「六四」屠城。
《北京之春》雜誌主編胡平：「香港畢竟和當年的北京背景還是不一樣，因為香港本來就有表達的自由，言論自由，集會自由。這次佔中其實也是和平地表達異議的一種方式，也是集會自由的一種體現，所以中共當局沒有鎮壓的理由。」
「佔中」運動引來了國際的聲援，28號至29號，美國駐港總領事館、以及美國國務院、英國外交部、台灣總統馬英九、台灣民進黨主席蔡英文、前主席蘇貞昌等人紛紛發聲聲援香港佔中運動。
中國網民也紛紛通過上傳照片和使用文字遊戲，在網路上聲援香港。台灣太陽花學運成員林飛帆、陳為廷等，到香港駐臺辦事處高喊「公民抗命、齊撐香港」。陳為廷說，台灣多個社運團體響應香港佔中行動。
28號晚，美國紐約的香港人遊行到中國駐紐約總領事館，抗議特首梁振英，支持香港佔中行動。截至29號下午1點，美國人支持港人抗爭的請願簽名已超過17萬。

Beijing Threatens to Dispatch Armed Police to Hong Kong
While tensions in Hong Kong escalate, mainland media
has been silent.
Overseas websites disclosed that state propaganda ordered
the ban of reports regarding “Occupy Central".
State mouthpiece media claimed the Hong Kong government
is under attack by people under the banner of “democracy",
and additional armed police to Hong Kong is ready
should local chaos occur.
Tens of thousands of Hong Kong people and students,
having protested in front of Central Government Offices
for days against the NPC (National People’s Congress)
political reforms, were met with beating, arrest,
pepper spray, tear gas, and were even fired upon by the police.
The peaceful protest and the suppression have become
headlines in world media such as CNN, BBC, Reuters,
AFP, AP, and Wall Street Journal.
Since the Occupy Central was shifted to Sept. 28,
Voice of America reported more than 100,000 people took
to the streets.
The situation has intensified as the police fired
tear gas at demonstrators;
Italian La Repubblica described the situation as just like
what occured in Tiananmen Square 25 years ago
when Beijing was challenged politically;
Other headlines are CNN’s, “Hong Kong Paralyzed";
and the BBC’s, “Hong Kong: Tear Gas and Clashes
at Democracy Protest."
Contrary to the international media focus,
mainland media have been silent.
CCTV and all major Internet portals did not mention a word,
and all relevant information is blocked on the Internet.
Overseas websites disclose a secret order from the central
propaganda— erase all relevant online information.
No media reports regarding Hong Kong are allowed.
The Beijing Liaison Office in Hong Kong issued a statement
on the Sept. 28 stating Occupy Central is an illegal gathering.
It insisted the decision of the NPC is unchallengeable.
On Sept. 29, the state media web portal also issued
a joint press note claiming that “Occupy Central" is illegal.
The CCP mouthpiece, opinion.huanqiu.com, publicized
an article by Wang Qiang, an associate professor
in the armed police political science college.
He stated that armed police will support the suppression
should Hong Kong police feel powerless.
This article was later deleted from the website.
Chinese democracy activist Yang Jianli: “Hong Kong’s
peaceful protest has created great momentum in the world.
It serves a warning to the CCP that forceful repression
would meet strong opposition and sanction from the world."
However, Yang Jianli also worries the suppression
and massacre of the 1989 student protest will happen
to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong’s Apple Daily editorial, “The Frenzied Autocracy,
Get Out" indicated the activities have been rational
and non-violent.
But the frenzied government’s outrageous and brutal
autocracy and the crazy police acts have completely
broken the hearts of the Hong Kong people.
The editorial stated that Hong Kong people’s determination
to fight for democracy will never weaken.
Every crackdown will only bankrupt the government further
and confirm Hong Kong people’s determination.
Beijing Spring magazine editor Hu Ping indicates
that the policy towards Hong Kong has been “no compromise,
no bloodshed", and thus it is unlikely to lead to massacre
similar to the 1989 incident even though Beijing won’t budge.
Hu Ping: “Hong Kong has a different situation.
After all, there is freedom of speech, freedom of assembly,
and freedom of expression in Hong Kong.
The Occupy Central has been a peaceful demonstration
of free gathering.
The CCP has no reason to suppress
like it did in Beijing."
Solidarity to the Occupy Central has been heard from
the international arena, including the US Consulate General,
the State Department of the United States, the British Foreign
Office, Taiwan’s President Ma Ying-jeou, Taiwan’s DPP
Chairman Tsai Ing-wen and former chairman
Su Tseng-chang, and so forth.
Chinese netizens have also paid their solidarity to Occupy
Central by uploading photos and using Internet word games.
Taiwan Sunflower Student Movement leaders Lin Fei-fan
and Chen Wei-ting have also protested at the Hong Kong
office in Taiwan.
Chen Wei-ting said Occupy Central has earned many
supporters from many of Taiwan’s social movement
organizations.
In New York, many Hong Kong people marched
to the Chinese Consulate General in New York
on the evening of Sept. 28.
They protested against Hong Kong Chief Executive Leung
Chun-ying, and voiced their support to the Occupy Central.
As of 1 p.m. on Sept. 29, more than 170,000 petition
signatures had been collected from Americans
who support the democracy protest.
