8月11號，上海市檢察院在官方網站公布，「上海光明食品集團公司」前董事長王宗南，因涉嫌在任職期挪用公款、受賄，檢方決定對他予以逮捕。王宗南是上海前市委書記陳良宇的舊部。
《法新社》8月12號報導說，中共前總書記江澤民和他提拔的政治勢力被稱為「上海幫」，而上海市前市委書記陳良宇，被認為是江澤民提拔的「親密夥伴」。
《法新社》認為，王宗南的落馬，顯示中共國家主席習近平的反貪運動，正在把重點轉向江澤民的權力基礎。
前中共軍委副主席郭伯雄傳被調查
中共前軍委副主席徐才厚落馬後，網路盛傳中共另一位前軍委副主席郭伯雄出逃的消息。8月12號，香港「中國人權民運訊息中心」引述消息說，郭伯雄正在接受調查，懷疑涉及收受賄賂，協助他人晉升職銜。
「人權民運訊息中心」說，中共軍隊實行「雙首長」制度，軍官晉陞一定要經兩名軍委副主席同意，買官賄賂時，行賄者一定同時將禮物送給兩人，所以郭伯雄會同徐才厚一様受到調查。
目前，這個消息還沒有得到中共當局的證實，但已經被港臺各大媒體轉載。
湖北雲夢縣丙肝大爆發 萬人染病
湖北雲夢縣目前爆發丙肝疫情，估計感染者達上萬人，患者失去勞動能力，承受巨大的心理和經濟壓力。
當地丙肝患者陳亞安向本臺記者介紹，雲夢縣政府上世紀90年代實行血漿經濟，政府組織幾個鄉鎮的農民賣血，90％的人都感染了丙肝，經過2、30年的潛伏期，現在大面積的爆發了。
陳亞安表示，目前雲夢縣的每家醫院，幾乎都已經住滿，還有一些付不起醫藥費的人，沒有治療，任由病情惡化。

On August 11, Shanghai People’s Procuratorate announced
the arrest of former Bright Food company chairman Wang
Zongnan on suspicion of embezzlement and bribery during
his term of office.
Wang Zongnan is the former Shanghai party secretary Chen
Liangyu’s old underling.
On August 12, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported, that
former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) General Secretary
Jiang Zemin and his promoted political forces are called the
Shanghai Gang.
The former Shanghai party secretary Chen Liangyu is
believed to be a close personal promotion by Jiang Zemin.
AFP believes that Wang Zongnan’s sacking shows Chinese
President Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption campaign focus has
shifted to Jiang Zemin’s power base.
Former CCP Central Military Commission Vice Chairman
Guo Baixiong Believed Under Investigation
After the former Central Military Commission Vice Chairman
Xu Cachou was sacked, another former Central Military
Commission Vice Chairman Guo Baixiong may have left.
On August 12, Hong Kong Information Centre for Human
Rights and Democracy quoted sources saying Guo Baixiong
is under investigation on suspicion of taking bribes and
helping others to get promotion.
Information Centre for Human Rights and Democracy said
the Chinese military implements a dual leadership system,
which means the military officer’s promotion must be agreed
by the two vice chairmen of the Central Military Commission.
The briber must give gifts to both Guo Baixiong and Xu
Caihou to purchase the title.
So that’s why they were investigated together.
This news has not been confirmed by China, but has been
reprinted by major media in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Hepatitis C Outbreak in Hubei Yunmeng County;
Tens of Thousands People Infected
There is a hepatitis C outbreak in Hubei Yunmeng County.
It’s estimated that tens of thousands of people are infected.
They lost the chance to work and are under great
psychological and economic pressure.
Local Chen Yaan, a hepatitis C patient told NTD reporters
the government , organized farmers in several towns to sell
blood because of the plasma economy in the 1990s.
90 percent of people are infected with hepatitis C.
After 20 or 30 years’ incubation period, it has broken out
in a large area now.
Chen Yaan said that almost all hospitals in Yunmeng County
are full of patients.
Some people just leave the disease to get worse without
treatment because they cannot afford the medical expenses.
