烏克蘭一夜變天，前總統亞努科維奇遭通緝逃逸失蹤，多個城市民眾加速推倒列寧雕像，鎮壓示威民眾的兇手也將面臨審判。中共黨媒的報導，也隨之一夜變調，媒體密集渲染烏克蘭所謂「動亂」的報導，突然停止，並迅速將關注焦點轉向了所謂「日本軍國主義復活」。
不過，中國民眾對烏克蘭事件的關注與思考依然熱烈。很多人在網上為烏克蘭革命的勝利歡呼，還有人說，今天的烏克蘭將是明天的中國。也有人估計，被「六四」天安門屠殺扼殺了的中國人上街表達訴求的勇氣，可能會被烏克蘭事件重新喚起。
還有人提議像烏克蘭民眾推倒列寧雕像一樣，銷毀中國高校中的毛澤東塑像，和毛在天安門的屍體。
傳北京市長王安順涉周案 被調查
繼北京前國安局局長梁克涉嫌協助前中共中央政法委書記周永康竊聽，2月22號突然被免職後，24號，香港《明報》又報導說，有關周案的最新傳言是，北京市長王安順也與周案有關，正受到秘密調查。王安順早年在石油系統工作，並在周永康任職國土資源部部長期間，擔任資源部人事教育司長，與周關係密切。
王安順和梁克分別是中共北京市前政法委書記和現任政法委副書記，外界認為，他們的落馬，是中共當局肅清周永康在國安和政法系統親信的最新動作。
數十人權律師聯署致兩會公開信
中共「兩會」召開在即，大陸約60名人權律師和普通公民聯名致信「兩會」代表，呼籲中共「人大常委會」批准中共16年前就簽署的聯合國《公民和政治權利國際公約》。並要求修改憲法，公開兩會代表的國籍、工作單位、電子郵件、電話號碼等信息，公開去年全國專職黨務工作者人數，和相應的財政支出信息，並取締地方設立的「法教中心」等。

Chinese Communist Party Gagged While People Argue Over
Ukraine’s Changing Regime
The Ukraine changed overnight; Yanukovych, the former
president is wanted by police;.
People in different cities pulled down the Lenin statue;
the murderer who suppressed protesters will also face trial.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) mouthpiece’s coverage
changed in one night.
The hyped turmoil report suddenly stopped, the focus quickly
turned to the so-called “revival of Japanese militarism".
However, the Chinese people are still concerned and thought
about the Ukraine event.
A lot of people cheered for the victory of Ukrainian revolution
through Internet.
They also said that today’s Ukraine will be tomorrow’s China.
Someone estimated that the Ukraine event may help Chinese
recall the courage of expressing demands stifled by the June 4
Tiananmen Massacre.
It was also proposed that Chinese should pull down the statue
of Mao Zedong in the University and Mao’s corpse from
Tiananmen Square like the Ukrainians did to the Lenin statue.
Beijing Mayor Wang Anshun Under Investigation For
Involvement in Zhou’s Case
The former Beijing National Security Agency Liang Ke was
dismissed on February 22 on suspicion of assisting with a
wiretap on the secretary of Central Politics and Law
Commission Zhou Yongkang.
Hong Kong “Ming Pao" has reported the latest rumor.
The new rumor is Beijing Mayor Wang Anshun is also under
secret investigation because of being involved in Zhou’s case.
Wang Anshun was working at the oil system and served as
personnel & education department chief in Land and Resources
department when Zhou Yongkang served as Minister there.
Wang Anshun and Liang Ke are respectively former and current
Secretaries of Beijing Politics and Law Committee.
People believe it is a new action to clean up Zhou Yongkang’s
cronies in the national security system and Politics and Law
Commission by the authorities.
Dozens of Human Rights Lawyers Sign Open Letter to The
Two Sessions
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) “two sessions" will be
held soon.
60 Mainland Chinese human rights lawyers and citizens sent a
joint letter to “two sessions" calling the standing committee of
people’s congress to approve the UN “International Covenant
on Civil and Political Rights" signed 16 years ago.
They also requested amending the constitution, making public
two sessions representatives nationality, affiliation, e-mail, phone
numbers and other information;
Making public the number of full-time party workers and the
corresponding financial expenditure information, banning the
local “law teaching center".
