Media: Chinese Officials Putting on a People Person Show
is Nondescript
Chinese leader Xi Jinping was caught dining at a road side
steamed bun restaurant.
For two days, this type of surprise encounter of the regime
official was copied elsewhere in China.
On December 31, a Henan reporter met Zhengzhou
Municipal Party Secretary Wu Tianjun in the subway;
On January 1, a Beijing journalist accidentally encountered
Vice Minister of Public Security Fu Zhenghua in a gun patrol.
These incidents have been stressed by the authorities as
“not arranged".
People believe they imitate Xi Jinping,s “people person" act.
Foreign media subsequently made fun of this political show.
On January 2, Deutsche Welle reported the surprise
encounters following the steamed bun show.
Hu Ping was quoted as saying that the Communist regime
is a system of neither the elect democracy nor the imperial
autocracy, so Communist leaders in such a grotesque system
imposing the “people person" scheme is quite nondescript.
The report says that the Communist officials are well above
the law, and the officials, intention to create a false image of
free exchange on a fair ground between the leaders and the
people is just a joke.
Masanjia Labor Camp Victims Demand State Compensation
Thirteen petitioners who were illegally detained in Masanjia
Labor Camp in Shenyang, Liaoning issued a statement on
January 2, requesting authorities to restore their reputations
and demanded state compensation.
The statement listed a number of allegations aginst
Masanjia labor camp.
These include detention of those over 60 years of age or
seriously ill, suffering from constant beating, abuse, and
corporal punishment, forced labor for more than 10 hours
a day, and so forth.
It also stated that although the Chinese Communist reeducation
through labor system has been abolished, but those who had
been illegally detained are still in pain.
The statement demanded state compensation and called for
the prosecution of criminal offenders.
Flyers Scatter in Tiananmen Square like Snowflakes on
New Year,s Day
On January 1, about 30 petitioners from Shanghai, Hebei
Heilongjiang, and Zhejiang gathered in Tiananmen Square.
They shouted slogans and threw leaflets.
Shanghai petitioner Wang Xiaoping told the Epoch Times
that Tiananmen Square was in a chaos with shouting and
flyers everywhere.
Beijing Public Security was helpless. Six to Seven trash bags
containing several thousand of flyers were picked up by the
police.
Many tourists who were watching were dispersed by armed
police with electric batons.
Those who took photos were also forced to delete the pictures.
Petitioners explain they have picked the most sensitive area to
spread the flyers.
The purpose is to tell the world how the lying Communist
regime has been deceiving the people.
They want to expose to the world the true human rights issues
in China today.
