14名去年7月參與江蘇啟東市反污染示威的抗議者，1月30號被中共以「衝擊國家機關」及「故意毀壞財物」罪名起訴，輿論指責中共當局是在「秋後算賬」，也有網友質問，違背民意，非法招標，激怒民憤的政府該如何定罪。
據《自由亞洲電臺》報導，案件庭審時，雖然還有很多空位子，但法院拒絕媒體旁聽。而在示威中把抗議T卹套在市長身上的朱寶生妻子，為親屬申請旁聽證時，被警方打到手臂骨折。
方洪勞教案 精神賠償遭駁回
重慶網民方洪起訴重慶市政府對他非法勞教，而要求國家賠償的案件。1月31號，在重慶埑江縣法院一審宣判。
法院駁回了他提出的精神賠償要求，只判定實體賠償351天，約7萬多元人民幣，比早前勞教委決定只賠347天稍有增加。法庭還同時駁回了方洪要求公開致歉的請求。
方洪在判決結果宣佈後，對媒體表示，他對這個判決感到失望，法庭對他遭受的精神傷害不認可，因此，這個判決並不公平。方洪說，他將與律師商量是否上訴。
方洪因在網上發表諷刺薄熙來、王立軍的言論，2011年被判勞教一年。
浙江兩會 訪民與警察打游擊
最近，中國大陸各地正忙著開「兩會」，各地會場外有大批民眾聚集抗議示威。
在浙江「兩會」會場外面，每天都有大批訪民聚集，他們舉著各式標語牌示威，高喊「打倒貪官、打倒腐敗、打倒強盜、還我土地」等口號，當局也派出比訪民多幾倍的警力戒護，以防止訪民衝破警戒線。
據《參與》網站報導，由於當局下令加大力度打壓訪民，28號以後，訪民們和維穩警察玩起了「游擊戰」，有部分訪民在浙江省人民大會堂正面喊口號，其他訪民則分散在人民大會堂附近，隨時從各處衝出來高喊口號，讓警察們疲於奔命。但是，訪民仍有多人被打。
海南訪民申請萬人遊行
而海南省的訪民，則打算在2月2號以遊行來表達訴求。
據《自由亞洲電臺》報導，失地農民1月29號已經向海口市公安局遞提出了遊行申請，但對方沒有任何回覆。
報導說，失地農民馮學恩透露，他有朋友在政府部門工作，因此得知，當局似乎默許了他們的遊行。他估計，會有一萬人左右參加，因為海南受害群眾太多了，各個地方都有。
馮學恩表示，由於現屆省委不作為，他們的訴求一直無法得到處理，希望以遊行方式，來促請中央的關注和處理。

Defendant’s Wife, Jiangsu Qidong was Beaten and Sustained

14 protesters who participated in anti-pollution
demonstrations in Jiangsu Qidong city in July 2012,
were sued by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP ) for
“assaulting state agencies” and “intentionally destroying property”.
Public opinion accused the CCP of “revenge after the autumn”.
Netizens also questioned how to convict Governments against
the citizens’ will, committing illegal tender, angering the public.
The report from ‘Radio Free Asia’ said during the trial of
the case, the court refused to allow media observers in.
However there were many empty seats available.
Zhu Baosheng’s wife, who put protest T-shirt on
the Mayor during the demonstration,
had her arm broken when she helped
her relatives apply for passes for visitors.
Fang Hong: Request for Spiritual Compensation Dismissed
Chongqing Netizen Fang Hong sued Chongqing government
for being put through illegal labor camp reeducation.
He asked for compensation from the state, after serving a year’s
sentence ordered by Chongqing Zhejiang court on Jan 31st 2012.
The court rejected his request of spiritual compensation,
only giving compensation for 351 days of 70 000 RMB.
This was slightly increased from the 347 days previously
decided by the Labor Camp Commission.
The court also rejected Fang Hong’s request of public apology.
Fang Hong told the media after the verdict was announced
he felt disappointed with the outcome.
The court did not recognize his metal injury,
so this judgment is not fair.
Fang Hong said that he will discuss with the lawyer
about an appeal.
Fang Hong was sentenced to one-year labor reeducation for
publishing speaches which satirized Bo Xilai and Wang Lijun.
Zhejiang Two Sessions: Petitioners and Police Fight
like Guerrillas
Recently, each province in mainland China is busy
with the ‘Two Sessions’.
A large number of petitioners gathered outside
the venue and protested.
Outside the venue of Zhejiang Two Sessions,
a large number of petitioners gathered every day.
They held placards shouting, “Beat down the corrupted officials,
Beat down corruption, Beat down robbers, Return my land”.
The local authority sent more police outnumbering the
petitioners to prevent them breaking through the cordon.
‘Participation’ website reported the great suppression
of the petitioners by the authority.
After January 28th the petitioners started to fight
like guerrillas with the police.
Some petitioners shouted the slogans in front of
the Zhejiang Province Great Hall of People.
Other petitioners scattered around the venue,
prepared to rush out from anywhere and shout the slogans loudly.
This made the police exhausted. However,
they still beat many petitioners were beaten.
Hainan Petitioners Apply for 10,000 Strong Demonstration
Hanna petitioners plan to have a demonstration on
February 2nd to express their demands.
According to a report from ‘Radio Free Asia’, landless peasants
have applied for demonstration to Haikou City Public Security Bureau, but they got no reply.
The report spoke of landless peasant Feng Xuen with
a friend who works in the government.
The friend told him that, the authority seems
to have agreed their demonstration.
He estimated that around 10,000 people will attend.
So many people are victims, they are everywhere.
Feng Xuen said that because the current Provincial Party
Committee is useless, their demands have not been dealt with.
They hope to urge the central government to have concern
and get proper treatment through this demonstration.
