【新唐人2013年01月17日訊】湖北省相關人士證實，原湖北省政法委書記、公安廳長吳永文，日前被中央紀委帶走調查。也有報導指稱，山西省公安廳原副廳長李太平已被調離山西公安系統。另外，廣州市政法委副秘書長祁曉林1月8號上吊自殺。這一系列事件引起外界關注。分析指出，習近平要清洗政法委，收回分散的權力，可能從外圍開始下手。
香港《大公網》1月15號報導，從湖北省相關人士那裏獲得證實，現任湖北省人大常委會副主任吳永文，日前被中央紀委帶走調查，可能涉嫌受賄等系列問題。吳永文是中共原湖北省委常委兼政法委書記，他也是「十八大」後，第二位被調查的副省部級官員。
時事評論員林子旭表示，吳永文被帶走調查，是習近平反腐舉措的進一步延續，同時，也是習近平對江澤民接連挑釁行為的進一步回擊。
時事評論員林子旭：「近一期這一批被拿下來的官員，多為政法委系統的官員，很明顯，這就是習近平要打擊中共政法委書記周永康。整個政法委系統，那種專橫跋扈的氣焰依然非常的囂張，習近平要想坐實自己的權力，政法委他必須得控制住，必須得搞定，這段時間包括傳出來，要取消勞教制度的消息，以及法院、檢察院人事變動頻繁的狀態，應該都是由此而來的。」
1月9號，中共喉舌《中新社》報導，1月8號下午6點多，廣州市公安局黨委副書記、副局長祁曉林自縊身亡，終年55歲。
此外，《21世紀經濟報導》說，山西省公安廳原副廳長李太平，已被調離山西公安系統。
而《大公網》報導還指出，在各省「兩會」召開前夕，內地各省高級人民法院院長、省檢察院檢察長進行了一輪大規模調動，而且這次調整，涵蓋了公安、司法、法院、檢察院等各個系統。
江蘇省司法廳廳長繆蒂生，調任遼寧省高級人民法院黨組書記；
山東省高級法院黨組副書記、副院長李靜，調任湖北省高級人民法院黨組書記；
遼寧省公安廳黨委副書記、常務副廳長閻慶文，調任陝西省高級人民法院黨組書記；
福建省人大常委會副秘書長游勸榮，調任湖南省人民檢察院黨組書記。
美國「喬治梅森大學」教授、時事評論家章天亮表示，早前，政法委權力急劇膨脹，並演變成為「第二權力中央」，游離於胡溫權力範圍之外。如果習近平想通過清洗政法委，收回過去分散的權力，章天亮認為，習近平可能從外圍開始動手。
時事評論家章天亮：「我相信習近平對周永康是很不耐煩了，因為他畢竟是跟薄熙來一塊，要把習近平從總書記的位置趕下去的一個重要的策劃者，而且，整個事情也應該是他指揮的，薄熙來只是一個前臺人物，那麼，現在的情況就是說，如果要是處理周永康，對中共黨內的震動，包括國際社會的震動也會非常的大，所以，我想習近平如果要處理周永康的話，也肯定得從外圍動手。」
中共已故前總書記胡耀邦的三兒子胡德華，日前，在北京住宅接受香港媒體採訪時呼籲，中共新領導層必須對薄熙來案「一追到底」，同時，還要揭出薄案的「最高層涉案者」。
章天亮：「薄熙來已經到了政治局委員，那比他再高就是政治局常委，其實這話講的很明白了，就是要追究周永康的問題，他敢說這樣的話，能說的出來，我想可能也是得到了某種授權或者是暗示。」
但是，章天亮指出，如果習近平考慮要保住共產黨，那麼他的動作就不可能太大。

Xi Jinping Takes Action on Peripheral Members of Politics and Law Committee
Hubei sources confirmed that Wu Yongwen, former Director
of Hubei Province Politics and Law Committee and Public Security, has been taken in for questioning.
Another report stated that Li Taiping, former
Deputy Director of Shanxi Province Public
Security Bureau, has been transferred.
In addition, Qi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary
General of the Guangzhou Municipal
Committee was found hanged on January 8.
This series of events has caught the attention of observers.
Analysts suggest that Xi Jinping may be starting
from the periphery to clean up the Politics and Law Committee, so he can recover dispersed power.
On January 15, Hong Kong’s

Wu Yongwen, Deputy Director of Hubei Provincial
People’s Congress has been taken away,
on allegations of bribery, among other issues.
Wu Yongwen is a member of Hubei
Provincial Party Standing Committee.
He is also Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee,
Since the 18th Party Congress, he is the second
provincial deputy official to be investigated.
Political commentator Lin Zixu says the investigation of Wu
is the continuation of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption campaign.
At the same time, it is also a counterattack
towards Jiang’s recent provocative moves.
Lin Zixu: “The officials being investigated are
mostly from the Politics and Law Committee.
It is clear that Xi Jinping wants to attack Zhou Yongkang.
Zhou is former secretary of the Politics and Law
Committee of the Chinese communist Party (CCP).
The whole Politics and Law Committee
system has been very arrogant.
Xi Jinping must control this
system in order to regain his power.
Recent news regarding ending the labor camp
system, personnel changes in the provinces,
courts, and procuratorates all come from that.”
On January 9, state controlled media
“Central News Agency" released a report.
On January 8, Qi Xiaolin, Guangzhou Municipal Public
Security Bureau Deputy Party Secretary, hanged himself. He was only 55 years old.
The “21st Century Business Herald” said that Li Taiping,
the former deputy director of the Shanxi Province Public Security Bureau, has been removed.
Ta Kung Network also pointed out that,
prior to the “two sessions",
a large number of directors of the Provincial Higher
People’s Court, as well as Procuratorate Attorney Generals, had been transferred within the Mainland.
This time it includes public security, justice ministries,
courts, prosecutors and other systems.
For example, Mou Disheng, the Jiangsu Provincial
Department of Justice Minister was transferred to Party Secretary of Liaoning Provincial Higher People’s Court.
Li Jing, Deputy Party Secretary of the Shandong
Provincial Higher Court was transferred to be Party
Secretary of Hubei Provincial Higher People’s Court.
Liaoning Provincial Public Security Bureau
Deputy Party Secretary, and Managing Deputy
Director Yan Qingwen, was transferred.
Yan became Party Secretary of Shaanxi
Provincial Higher People’s Court.
Yu Quanyong, Vice Secretary-General of Fujian Provincial
People’s Congress Standing Committee, was transferred.
Yu became Party Secretary of Hunan
Provincial People’s Procuratorate.

The Political and Law Committee’s power had gained rapid expansion,
and had evolved into a second central government,
dissociated from Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao.
If Xi Jinping wants to collect his power through
cleaning up the Politics and Law Committee
system, he may start from the periphery.
Zhang Tianliang: “I believe Xi Jinping has
lost his patience with Zhou Yongkang. Bo Xilai was only a front figure.
It was Zhou playing the important
role in the plot to oust Xi Jinping.
In other words, dealing with Zhou Yonkang will impact
greatly both the Party and the international community.
I think, Xi Jinping would certainly start from
the periphery to deal with Zhou Yongkang.”
A few days ago, Hu Dehua, third son of the late Hu Yaobang,
former general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, expressed his thoughts.
Hu Dehua told a Hong Kong media reporter that
he wanted China’s new leadership to investigate
the Bo Xilai case thoroughly until all alleged
offenders at the highest levels have been found.
Zhang Tianliang: “Bo Xilai was already
a member of the Central Committee.
The next level will be the Politburo Standing Committee.”
In fact, this clearly indicates that
Zhou Yongkang should be investigated.
I believe that someone might have authorized
Hu Dehua to say something like that.”
However, Zhang Tianliang also points out
that Xi Jinping cannot take too strong an
action if he wants to keep the CCP intact.
