江蘇啟東民眾抗議日資造紙廠排污口工程事件,以當局宣佈「永久取消」項目而暫告段落。除了中共當局的秋後算賬抓人,各界對這次事件的關注也沒有降低。
據德國媒體評論說,這是繼四川甚邡之後,又一個民眾成功抗議的範例,而且,因為有大量年輕人參與,讓北京恐懼被倣傚。
據說,啟東事件令北京當局相當驚怒,江蘇省委書記以及南通市委書記被召上京解釋。
而大陸維權人士則對啟東當地警察的表現印象深刻,認為他們盡到了「槍口抬高一厘米」的良心義務。
據當地民眾反映,事件過程中,啟東當地警察基本沒有出手打人,包括民眾扒光市委書記衣服和佔領政府大樓時。後來,當局從常州、揚州、蘇州等地調來大批警力替換了當地警察,才開始大力鎮壓。
當地民眾表示,28號早晨,當人群舉著紅色宣傳T卹喊著口號湧進市政府時,當地警察都排站在路的兩邊待命,有的封鎖一些路口,但沒有強制阻攔。
網友「信王軍」在微博上透露,「市政府內的警車被翻了,大批警察在市政府後面乘涼。」「部份警察小聲對民眾說加油。」
《大紀元》新聞網引述南通維權人士路先生的話說,「槍口抬高一厘米」是一種良心義務,當法律和良知發生衝突時,良知是最高的行為準則,而不是法律更不是非法指令。而啟東警方在父老鄉親面前真的盡到了良心義務。
報導還說,另一位維權人士也表示,市委書記被扒光和副市長被套上宣傳T卹,以及民眾佔領市府大樓並曝光腐敗奢侈品,都是中共統治63年來前所未有的,啟東不僅寫下了歷史性一筆,啟東還啟動了一次推翻中共的演示。
奧運奪金激烈 網友批「金牌體育」
倫敦奧運會的各項賽事正在如火如荼的進行中,有評論說,中國「奪金」也是政績工程的一部份。
《BBC》中文網報導說,在中國,奧運金牌背後已形成一條價值鏈。而正是受到豐厚的利益回報誘惑,讓一些運動員和主管部門無法放鬆心態去面對金牌爭奪戰。
據報導,舉重選手吳景彪在競逐男子舉重56公斤,不敵朝鮮選手最終獲得銀牌後,痛哭著對《中央電視臺》怒吼。
事實上,中國老百姓已經不再關注金牌的多寡,而是關注體育資源分配嚴重失衡問題。
很多人認為,中國發揚的並不是真正的奧運精神。網友「明朝永樂」說,「關注百姓金牌,不要特供金牌。」而網友「阿班和小尼」也說,「金牌的數量不能代表國民體育素質。」
還有網友說,金牌解決不了醫保、下崗、教育、毒食物。

With ten thousand people demonstrating, Qidong police
“raise up their heads”.
The incident with the people of Qidong, Jiangsu protesting at
the wastewater outfall project of the Japanese paper mill has

According to reports from the local people, during the course
of the incident, the local Qidong police didn’hit out at the people,
even when the public stripped the clothes from the CCP
secretary of Qidong City and occupied the government buildings.
Later, when CCP authorities transferred a large number of
Police from Changzhou, Yangzhou, Suzhou etc.
replacing the local police, only then were the protesters
strongly cracked down on.
The locals said that on the morning of July 28th, when protesters
held red promotional T-shirts and congregated in the government buildings,
the local police were standing on both sides of
the street waiting for orders.
Some police blocked road junctions without orders.

saying that raising the heads up one centimeter
is an obligation of conscience.
When there is conflict between the law and conscience,
conscience is the highest criterion of actions, not the laws, certainly not illegal orders.
The local police of Qidong did conduct themselves
according to their consciences in front of the locals.
The report also said that another activist said the CCP secretary
of Qidong was stripped and the vice mayor had to wear a promotional T-shirt on his head.
The public occupied the government building exposing the
officials’ luxury goods gained from corruption.
All this had never happened before in CCP’s 63 years’ rule.
The Qidong people not only left a record for history,
but also started a demonstration of overthrowing the CCP.
With intense competition for Olympic gold medals,
netizens criticize the “sports of gold medals.”
With the intense competition of various events
at the London Olympics, some critics say that
winning the gold medals is also a part of the
Chinese Communist Party(CCP)political ambitions.
“BBC" Chinese network reported that in China, a value chain
behind the Olympic gold medals has been formed.
Just because of the temptation of abundant substantial interest,
it makes some athletes and competent authorities unable
to face the battle for gold medals with a relaxed attitude.
According to reports, weight lifter Wu Jingbiao lost to the
North Korean athlete and took a silver medal in the men’s weightlifting of 56 kg category.
He cried on CCTV, the CCP reporting mouthpiece.
In fact, Chinese people are no longer concerned about the
amount of the gold medals won but the serious imbalance of sports resources allocation.
Many people think that what China carries forward
is not a real Olympic spirit.
Netizen “Mingchaoyongle” said, “we are concerned about the
gold medals of the people, not the gold medals of special supply.”
And netizen “Abanhexiaoni” also said, “The number of gold
medals cannot represent the quality of the National Sports.”
Some netizens said that gold medals can not solve issues of
health insurance, unemployment, education and poisonous food.
